The Llanquihue pier began to be built in 2015 to promote Llanquihue as a tourist destination, in order to generate more resources in the commune, finishing construction in 2019.
The pillars that are at the base are made of iron and the main structure is made of wood along with the roof.
The Llanquihue pier also has a dump and mooring site for small boats and a walk on the lake where you can enjoy free binoculars with which you can observe Lake Llanquihue and the Casa Blanca Puntiagudo, Osorno, Tronador, and Tronador volcanoes. Calbuco and the Yates volcano.
