Tradition in lodging in the district of Llanquihue and in the homonymous lake basin surrounded by nature, a wonderful view of the Casablanca, Puntiagudo, Osorno, Tronador, Calbuco and Yate volcanoes. Come and enjoy a unique place to disconnect from the noise and stress of the city.
The house where our campsite is currently located dates back to 1920. This mansion was built by Gustavo Werner Yunge, Ewaldo Werner Schöbitz, Francisco Huilquiruca and Christian Klein.
Camping Playa Werner was born on December 1, 1978, as a venture of the Werner Hornig family, specifically Gustavo Werner Schöbitz, married to Gerda Ana Clara Hornig Brandau, who had two children, Claudio and Rudy, being Claudio or better known as Klaus, who continued with the family business, located in what was Chacra No. 8.
The Werner family is descended from the German settlers who arrived in Chile in 1852 from Ruppertsdorf, Saxony. The first settlers are Gottlieb Werner and his wife Johanna Döhring I.
